RSSpy

RSSpy is revolutionary search engine that monitors and stores news snippets from hundred of major news sources, and allows users to create their own custom news feeds.

Since the advent of RSS technology, most news and content providers have been distributing their news headlines and synopsese via RSS feeds.  Starting in autumn of 2004, the RSSpy bot has been reading hundreds of news sources every day, and logging information into our databases.  RSSpy was the first of its kind, and continues to pioneer RSS content services.

Our massive information archive can be freely accessed via search engine at www.rsspy.com.   But RSSpy is much more than just a search engine, because we allow users to save their searches as custom RSS feeds.  What this means is that you can have your own custom tailored news feeds on your website or on your desktop!

How is this useful?

For Website Owners and Operators
By including a custom news feed on your site, you are providing relevant content that is automatically updated every day.  The key is relevance.  If you include a normal news feeds from CNN, MSN, or other news provider, it won't relate to the content on your website, so it not really provide any benefit.  With an RSSpy news feed, the content is relevant, so your users will appreciate it more, and most importantly, search engines will rank your site higher than your competititors and you will get more visitors to your site site!

For Corporations
In some cases, you may not want to provide a lot of news on your website, and may instead prefer to have only private access to your custom news feeds.  Some of our customers prefer to use RSSpy within their CMS Weboffice, so that they can easily monitor their industry news, and selectively choose news content for their website.

For Personal Use
For news savvy users, RSSpy can help you to more easily track your favourite news topics. Many people already use an RSS aggregator on their desktop computer to read news feeds.  However, even the best news aggregators don't help you to find and track specific topics.  They also bear the unforunate burden of having to read the news every day.  If you miss it, it's gone because RSS news feeds have no memory or archive.  With RSSpy, news can be filtered by keywords, and can be tracked by day, week, month, season, or even by year!
