FormCatcher

FormCatcher is a unique software application that can automatically turn HTML form data into databases.  Any normal HTML form, or other POST compatible form such as PDF, can be directed to submit data to FormCatcher.  Whether the form is hosted on a website, distributed via email, or on CD, or embedded in a desktop file or application, as long as a web connection is available, the data can be sent to FormCatcher and automatically logged into a database.  FormCatcher creates and modifies database tables on the fly, so no programming or database expertise is required.

This product was developed for people such as Web Designers, even novice ones or hobbyists, who can create basic forms but are not able to create and manage web databases.

FormCatcher was first used in 2002 by BC Pictures to create online contest forms for IAATA and Aruba.com to encourage people to travel to the Caribbean in the wake of slow tourism that followed 9/11.  BC Pictures was able to create several different web forms, and all data was successfully processed, organized, and stored in convenient database tables.  They were amazed how FormCatcher was able to "magically" distinguish each separate form and capture all of the data into organized database tables.

FormCatcher is a web service installed on IXM servers, and is also available for custom installation upon request.
