Company Profile:
The Hospital for Sick Children is one of the most esteemed healthcare centres in the world, providing specialized health care services to children.  It is located in Toronto, Canada, but services children from around the world.

Problem:
SickKids is a world leader in children's healthcare, employing thousands of medical professional and researchers.  They wanted to increase their international presence by becoming a leader in Internet healthcare, providing high value information and advanced e-services.  The first stage of their plan was to build a website powered by a sophisticated Content Publishing System that could enable their huge staff of doctors and researchers to contribute and edit information in a centralized resource.  The website front-end would be custom branded, sponsored by TD Securities, and would be showcased in a custom-built digital library within the hospital that is visited by 10,000 passersby every day.

Solution:
We provided consulting services for their project plan, brand decisions, and software acquisitions.  We also joined their team to handle the back-end database and server implementation.  Rather than building a custom solution, the client opted to purchase Rhythmyx CMS, which is a high-end CMS application that costs over $500,000 USD.  We were trained on the Rhythmyx system in Boston, and successfully implemented it for the project, including full workflow management.
