Timeline: 10 months
Budget: $300,000 CAD

Company Profile:
Nishe Media was an upstart media company and publisher that created a wide range of lifestyle magazines and fostered a large subscription base and web community.

Problem:
The rapid growth of the company was causing inflated production costs.  Essentially the magazines couldn't be produced and printed fast enough to service the subscription growth.  Furthermore, the subscription base was premised on value added services which had to be delivered via web media.

Solution:
We provided technical direction for the company, including authoring project plans, technical specs, negotiating strategic alliances, and developing custom web applications.  In particular, a novel platform for publishing and showcasing magazines on the Internet was produced in partnership with Cybaris.

After just one year, the company imploded under poor management, and the digital magazine web application was inherited by us to become the foundation for the flip book technology that has been evolved and incorporated into our current FLIP suite of applications.
